In a major blow to the Bollywood industry, veteran actor Deb Mukerji, father of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, has passed away at the age of 83 due to age-related health complications. In addition to being Ayan Mukerji’s father, he was also the father-in-law of renowned filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker. Bollywood celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, Kajol Devgn, Jaya Bachchan, and Karan Johar, were seen at Ayan Mukerji’s residence, offering their condolences and paying their final respects to the late actor.
