US President Donald Trump has once again made sensational claims about his role in preventing an India–Pakistan war. Speaking on Tuesday evening, Trump said Pakistan’s Field Marshal Munir told him, “President Trump saved millions of millions of lives.” He repeated his controversial remarks about brokering an India–Pakistan ceasefire and even claimed that seven fighter jets were shot down during the standoff.
