The National Green Tribunal has directed the Matheran Hill Station Municipal Council to explain how horse waste collected across the hill station will be processed and disposed of before considering its proposal to deploy electric cargo vehicles for waste collection. The tribunal also flagged gaps in the civic body's sanitation plan.
