Palghar Police arrested two women within 48 hours for allegedly stealing a 28-gram gold necklace worth Rs 3 lakh from a 70-year-old woman at Boisar's Friday weekly market. Police said the stolen jewellery was recovered from the accused during the investigation

The incident took place in Khupri village in Wada taluka in Palghar district. The three affected people complained of breathing difficulties and eye irritation after coming into contact with the substance
