A major breakthrough in U.S.-South Korea trade relations has been announced following intense discussions at the APEC Summit in San Francisco. Both sides reached an understanding to slash U.S. auto tariffs on South Korean imports from 25% to 15%, marking a significant shift in Washington’s trade policy. Lee Jae Myung’s top aide confirmed the development, stating that Seoul will invest nearly $350 billion in the United States, including $200 billion in cash commitments and $150 billion toward shipbuilding and industrial cooperation. India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on 5th of March revealed how he left his “well-paying corporate job” to join Politics. He recalls that Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked him to join the government. “Personally it was a surprise, I never even thought about it, but, one of the reasons I never thought about it was that nobody in my family even remotely thought about it,” said EAM Jaishankar while interacting with Indian community in Seoul.
