A delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is currently in Bogotá, Colombia, to raise awareness about Operation Sindoor and reaffirm India’s stance on cross-border terrorism. In a message to Colombia, Tharoor expressed his disappointment with Colombia over sympathising with Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. He called out Colombia for extending condolences to Pakistan for the loss of lives during India’s counter-terrorism operation. He further explained India’s stance against terrorism and his willingness to dispel any misunderstandings.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is leading a delegation of Indian parliamentarians to Guyana, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, and the US to spread awareness about Operation Sindoor. Conveying India’s resolve against terrorism and emphasising Pakistan’s links to terrorism, Tharoor delivered a powerful speech in Panama. He hit out at Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism and justified India’s retaliation to cross-border terrorism by Pakistan. The Shashi Tharoor-led all-party delegation met the President of Panama at his palace today. According to Tharoor, Panama's President graciously expressed his understanding and support for India’s fight against terrorism. The delegation reaffirmed India’s stance against Pakistan and highlighted avenues for a stronger India-Panama partnership. The delegation will be departing for Bogota and Colombia next.
