Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray have announced a joint Tiranga March in Mumbai on July 26 in support of students and CJP supporters protesting over the paper leak issue. The march will begin at Shivaji Park and conclude at Siddhivinayak Temple, with organisers saying participants will carry only the Indian national flag and no party flags. Ahead of the rally, Raj Thackeray issued a strong warning, saying anyone attempting to disrupt the peaceful march would face action. Uddhav Thackeray had recently visited Jantar Mantar in Delhi to express support for the ongoing student-led protest.

Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre has been arrested in connection with the alleged assault of doctors and nurses at KDMC's Shastri Nagar Hospital in Dombivli, Thane district. Produced before a Kalyan court, Mhatre was remanded to three days of police custody. The incident has triggered protests by doctors across Maharashtra, with two of the allegedly assaulted doctors resigning over safety concerns.
