Terror Attack
Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has issued a fresh warning over the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT), saying Pakistan will take "all necessary measures" to secure what it calls its rightful share of water. The statement came after the Corps Commanders' Conference, where Pakistan's military leadership reaffirmed its position on the water-sharing dispute. The warning follows similar remarks from Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Ishaq Dar, and other Pakistani leaders over the suspension of the treaty.

India has issued a strong response to Pakistan's latest rhetoric over the Indus Waters Treaty, making it clear that the agreement will remain in abeyance until Islamabad credibly and irrevocably ends its support for cross-border terrorism. Responding to Pakistan's recent threats over water sharing, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said New Delhi's position remains unchanged and rejected Pakistan's aggressive posturing.
