A major rail disaster has rocked Thailand after a construction crane collapsed onto a moving passenger train traveling from Bangkok to northeastern provinces. At least 12 people were killed and 79 others injured when the crane struck Special Express Train No. 21, causing multiple cars to derail and briefly catch fire. The crash occurred in Nakhon Ratchasima province, around 230 kilometers northeast of Bangkok, during morning operations.
