US President Donald Trump has renewed his push for the Nobel Peace Prize, claiming he has settled eight wars and arguing that his record makes him deserving of the prestigious award. Trump has cited the Israel-Hamas conflict, Israel-Iran, India-Pakistan, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Serbia-Kosovo, Rwanda-Congo, Egypt-Ethiopia and Cambodia-Thailand as conflicts he says he helped resolve or de-escalate. However, several of these claims remain disputed, with some conflicts unresolved or experiencing renewed violence.  

A devastating fire ripped through the Na Ladprao pub in Bangkok, Thailand, killing at least 27 people and leaving dozens injured, including 22 in critical condition. According to Thai officials, musicians noticed smoke rising from a stage circuit breaker before a blackout and a reported explosion. The flames spread rapidly through the venue as decorative ceiling materials caught fire, while dense toxic smoke trapped patrons inside. Authorities say many victims were found near the restrooms, and most fatalities were caused by smoke inhalation rather than burns.
