A Delta Air Lines jet crashed while trying to land at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday afternoon. The plane, Flight 4819 from Minneapolis, was hit by strong winds and drifting snow. It flipped over on the tarmac, coming to a stop with its belly up and one wing torn off. Despite the crash, all 80 people on board were evacuated safely. Photos and videos showed flames and black smoke as passengers exited through the front and rear doors. Firefighters sprayed water on the plane. At least 18 people were injured, including one person in critical condition and a child with serious injuries. The rest had minor to moderate injuries. There were 22 Canadian passengers on the flight.
