PM Modi holds mega roadshow in Vadodara, Col Sofiya Qureshi's family joins crowd

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Vadodara on Monday morning as he arrived in Gujarat for a two-day visit. He received a warm welcome at the Vadodara airport around 10 AM, where large crowds had gathered to greet him. From there, the Prime Minister led a one-kilometre roadshow to the Air Force station on the city’s outskirts. Among the crowd were family members of Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, known for her role in briefing the media during 'Operation Sindoor'. People lined the route, waving the Indian flag and chanting slogans in support of the Indian Army and Prime Minister Modi, celebrating the success of 'Operation Sindoor' against Pakistan. During the roadshow, the Prime Minister was seen leaning out of his vehicle to acknowledge and wave to the enthusiastic supporters.

Vadodara road rage accuse Rakshit says he was not drunk, pothole led to accident

In a shocking update on the Vadodara road rage case, accused Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia on March 15 claimed that the reason behind the accident which resulted in the death of one woman and injured four is the pothole menace. Rakshit said, "We were going ahead of the scooty, we were turning right and there was a pothole on the road. There was a scooty and a car while we were turning right... The car slightly touched the other vehicle and the airbag opened suddenly, our vision was hampered and the car went out of control". Furthermore, Rakshit has claimed that he was driving the car at 50 km/ph and was not drunk. He also added that he went for a Holika Dahan celebration and that he did not do any party.
