Record of 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' Makes A Record Of 82.31 Crs In A Week

Hind Film Star Ranbir Kapoor is back on the big screen in a rom com called Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar after almost a decade!Directed by Luv Ranjan who has come out before with movies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar marks the first on-screen collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The movie made a festive release and saw a strong start and made a box office record of 82.31 crs in India so far in a week’s time.

Supreme Court Orders Release Of Rajiv Gandhi’s Assassins After 31 Years

The Supreme Court on Friday ordered premature release of six convicts  including Nalini Sriharan – who were serving life sentences in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. They served 31 years in jail. Convicts R P Ravichandran, Santhan, Murugan, Robert Payas and Jayakumar were also ordered to be released.

Mumbai: 3,431 pillion riders caught without helmets

As many as 3,431 pillion riders were fined by traffic police on Day 1 of action against bikers and pillion riders without helmets. Riders were unhappy with the move and said helmets for pillion riders are unnecessary. On May 25, the police commissioner had instructed traffic cops to take action against bikers whose pillion riders were not wearing helmets. The traffic department had given 15 days’ time to bikers for compliance, failing which they would be penalised.
