The launch of ISRO's meteorological satellite INSAT-3DS, aiming to enhance meteorological observations and help in better weather forecasting and disaster warning, is scheduled for February 17.Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in a post on X on Thursday said that the satellite will be launched onboard a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle F14 (GSLV F14)."The launch of the GSLV-F14/INSAT-3DS mission is set for Saturday, February 17, at 5:30pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR at Sriharikota," ISRO said.In August ISRO had launched successfully launched Chandrayaan-3, for this achievement ISRO was feted with the prestigious Leif Erikson Lunar Prize by the Husavik Museum. In last month January, the Indian Space Research Organisation had injected the Aditya-L1 Solar Mission into its designated orbit.

India got its first 3D-printed Post Office in Karnataka’s Bengaluru. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Aug 17 inaugurated Cambridge Layout Post Office. It is India’s first Post Office constructed completely with 3D printing technology. Taking to Twitter, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw called it a ‘Spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat!’.

Referring to Morgan Stanley’s ‘transformation’ report on India’s development in the last decade, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on June 01 in Delhi hailed India’s rapid growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Further crediting the country’s growth to its 3Ds- democracy, demography of young population and demand, the Union Minister said that India will emerge as a developed nation in the next 25 years. “It is an important day for Indian international image. This day will be remembered for long for India’s development pace under PM Modi. Today, India is entirely different than what it was in 2013. India has rapidly moved forward with its 3Ds; democracy, demography of young population and demand. In the next 25 years, India will emerge as a developed country,” Goyal said. India recently garnered praise over its development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a Morgan Stanley ‘transformation’ report. ISRO launched 2nd Gen Navigational satellite GSLV-F12 from Sriharikota, AP on May 29. GSLV mission designed to deploy the NVS-01 navigation satellite into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. NVS-01 is the first of 2nd gen satellites envisaged for Navigation with Indian Constellation services. This satellite will provide real-time services over India and will enhance monitoring and navigation. For the first time, an indigenous atomic clock will be flown in NVS-01.
