On 12 January the Khar police submitted the post-mortem report of the deceased 19-year-old psychology student to the court during the remand hearing of the accused duo, Diya Padalkar and Shree Jogdhankar. Miracle Man pulled out alive from debris after 48 hours

Nearly 48 hours after a factory building collapsed in Jalandhar, one person has been pulled out alive from under the debris. The three-storey building, housing a blanket factory, collapsed in the Focal Point area of the city around midnight on Sunday. 60 people have been rescued from the accident site so far while many people are still said to be trapped under the debris. After a show of strength on Hyderabad's Necklace Road with thousands of people gathering for the Telangana march on Sunday, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) intends to keep up the crescendo. They have given a call for a 48-hour bandh from today to put pressure on the government to come to a decision on its demand for a separate state.
