The fire was reported at around 10.02 pm at Shanta Bhavan Building on Church Road, near St Xavier School, according to information from the Mumbai Fire Brigade

The victim and a male friend were returning from Umargam when their motorcycle skidded and crashed near Amgaon. While the pair were standing near the road, suspects passing in a vehicle noticed them, officials said
