Diljit, along with his co-star Parineeti Chopra, director Imtiaz Ali and music composer AR Rahman, was seen unveiling the trailer of Chamkila, which is a biopic of the slain Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh became emotional after director Imtiaz Ali praised him, saying that despite his achievements, it's just the beginning for him. Imtiaz Ali stated, "Sab kehte hain aapne bohot kuch achieve kar liya hai lekin ye bas aapki shuruwat hai... Aap jaha bhi jaaoge, hum bhi aapke saath chalenge," leaving the actor emotional. Parineeti Chopra also sang some of the songs from the film. Kailash Kher and AR Rahman also put up a special performance for the audience

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff unveiled the trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Tuesday. The actors were present at the trailer launch event in Mumbai with the rest of the cast, where Akshay was asked about one advice he would give to Tiger as a young star in the industry. To this, Akshay's hilarious response made everyone laugh out loud. The advice was an indirect hint at Tiger's rumoured ex-girlfriend Disha Patani. Although they never officially confirmed their relationship, the two reportedly dated for a few years before breaking up in 2022. On March 17, a mob attacked a shopkeeper over allegedly playing Hanuman Chalisa during ‘azaan’. A Hindu organisation held a protest in Bengaluru on March 19 over the Hanuman Chalisa row. Meanwhile, a clash erupted between Hindu organisation and Police during the protest. BJP Yuva Morcha National President Tejasvi Surya also joined the protest on March 19. Later, BJP MP Surya urged protestors to quit the demonstration after a clash with Bengaluru Police after he was detained. For the unversed,a Bengaluru shopkeeper was allegedly beaten for playing loud music at the time of Azaan (Islamic call to prayer). The shopkeeper claims he was playing Hanuman Chalisa at this shop in central Bengaluru when the assault took place.

A video of a Bengaluru shopkeeper being thrashed by Muslim mob, is making rounds on social media. The shopkeeper was allegedly thrashed for playing Hanuman Chalisa at his store. Political slugfest broke out soon after the videos reached the Opposition in the state. Taking to ‘X’, LoP R Ashoka shared the video and questioned the state government over the incident. Meanwhile, BJP leader PC Mohan alleged that the attack on man is the grim reality of Congress’ ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukaan’. BJP Yuva Morcha National President Tejasvi Surya alleged that the incident was result of Conress’ appeasement politics. Surya after meeting the victim on March 18 said that he has demanded an unbiased investigation from Bengaluru City Commissioner. Agitated by the incident, people in large numbers raised ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in the area.
