LTT Railway Station Fire: Fire in Canteen at LTT Railway Station in Mumbai

A massive fire broke out in an eatery at Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus railway station on 13th December. The blaze erupted in the Jan Aahar canteen on platform number 1 of the LTT station at 2.45 pm. The fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire by 3:30 pm. The passengers were evacuated from the station and two vehicles of the fire brigade rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The video of the incident circulated on the social media in which black smoke rising above the roof of the railway station could be seen. Officials said that nobody has been injured in the incident of LTT Railway Station Fire.

J&K: A wreath-laying ceremony was held in Rajouri on November 24 to pay tribute to 5 army personnel. 5 Army personnel lost their lives since the gunfight broke out on November 22 morning. Encounter between terrorists, security forces broke out in the Bajimaal area of Dharmsal in the Rajouri. So far, two terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba have been neutralised in the ongoing encounter. Delhi Rains: Drone visuals show flooded Yamuna; water level expected to recede

Yamuna River continued to overflow and several areas remained inundated on July 17. However, the water level of the Yamuna River continued to recede on July 16. It was recorded at 205.50 metres at 11 pm at Old Yamuna Bridge (Loha Pul). Though the water level is still above the danger mark of 205.33 metres, it is expected to come down soon. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed 17 teams for rescue work in flood-affected districts in Delhi. 1,606 people have been rescued. Moreover, 7241 people and 956 livestock have been evacuated by the NDRF teams. Further, pre-hospital treatment has been given to 908 rescued persons. Around 26,401 people have been evacuated from the flood-affected low-lying areas of six districts of Delhi, out of which around 21,504 people are staying in 44 camps.

 A 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Shahbad Dairy in Delhi. The accused has been identified as Sahil (20), a resident of Delhi. The gruesome incident was caught on camera installed in the lanes. The deceased were in a relationship but a spat broke out between the two on May 28. Minor girl was planning to attend her friend's son's birthday when Sahil intercepted, attacked her. He attacked her multiple times & hit her with a stone before leaving the spot. An FIR has been registered in this regard under section 302 IPC at Shahbad Dairy Police station.
