Assembly Elections results: BJP leads ahead of Shiv Sena, Congress

Counting of votes for Maharashtra Assembly polls held on Monday began at 8 am on Thursday. Counting of votes for all the 288 Assembly segments began at 269 locations in the state. According to the Election Commission of India, Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 103 constituencies while the Shiv Sena is leading in 60 constituencies. The Nationalist Congress Party is not too far behind and is leading in 52 constituencies.
