The BJP MLAs staged a protest near Mahatma Gandhi's statue inside the Assembly premises. The BJP legislators started demanding a discussion on alleged irregularities in the DJB. PM Modi in Telangana held a massive roadshow in the Medchal Malkajgiri on March 15 as part of the BJP's election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister was accompanied by State BJP President and Secunderabad Lok Sabha candidate G Kishan Reddy, Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat candidate Etala Rajender and BJP vice-president Dr K Laxman. The roadshow took place from Mirjalguda to Malkajgiri crossroad. A large number of spectators gathered in the area to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister during the roadshow. The Hyderabad traffic police earlier said that the traffic would be stopped in the entire area in view of the Prime Minister's roadshow. Security was tightened in the area in view of the roadshow on Friday evening. PM Modi is also scheduled to address two public meetings at Nagarkurnool on March 16 and Jagtial on March 18.The BJP is formulating strategies to win more seats in the Lok Sabha elections in the state this time. The party's top leaders have already focused on Telangana.

Six Congress MLAs who cross voted in favour of the Bhartiya Janta Party during the Rajya Sabha election, have been disqualified by Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania. The detained MLA's include Rajinder Rana, Sudhir Sharma, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Devinder Kumar Bhutoo, Ravi Thakur, and Chetanya Sharma. With the six rebel MLAs disqualified the strength of the house comes down from 68 to 62 and the halfway mark is 32. With the loss of 6 MLAs the Congress now has 34 MLAs and the BJP with independents has 28. The fortunes of the Congress will now rest on its ability to keep the rest of its flock together.

BJP claimed that Pakistan Zindabad slogans were raised by Congress supporters after Congress Rajya Sabha poll victory. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has strongly condemned the alleged Pro-Pakistan slogans raised by the supporters of Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain in Vidhan Soudha after he was elected as the Rajya Sabha member. Politics seems to be heating up in Bihar as 9-time CM Nitish Kumar led-Govt is ready to face floor test on Feb 12. RJD MLAs have been camping at former Bihar Dy CM Tejashwi Yadav’s residence in Patna since Feb 10. However, Congress MLAs have not been a part of the meeting as they left for Bihar from Hyderabad earlier in the day. Congress CLP leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan said that “Khela Hoga” ahead of the trust vote. Meanwhile, a day before the Bihar floor test, JD(U) leaders flocked to Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary’s residence. Bihar CM and JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar also attended the meeting ahead of the crucial floor test. BJP MLAs also left from Mahabodhi resort in Gaya to get ready for the trust vote and the party exuded confidence. RLJD Chief Upendra Kushwaha claimed that Tejashwi Yadav himself would be victim of “Khela”. Meanwhile, RJD has claimed that ‘Operation Lantern’ will outweigh ‘Op Kamal’ in Bihar, and ‘Khela Baaki Hai’.
