Fresh Israeli airstrikes have struck multiple areas across Gaza, including Jabaliya, Khan Younis and central Gaza, as the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate despite months of ceasefire arrangements between Israel and Hamas. According to Palestinian authorities, an airstrike on a police station in Jabaliya killed several people, including police personnel and at least one woman. Separate strikes in central Gaza reportedly claimed the lives of three members of the same family, while another person was killed in Khan Younis. A child was also reported fatally shot near Rafah. Israel has identified several of the slain officers in Jabaliya as Hamas operatives, alleging they were members of the group's military infrastructure. The United Nations has criticized repeated strikes on Gaza police personnel, expressing concern over attacks during what it described as routine law enforcement activities. UN officials have also raised broader concerns about the obligation to distinguish between civilian policing functions and armed groups under international humanitarian law. WATCH

The military also says three armed Hamas operatives were killed in a separate operation in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, Palestinian officials report that Israeli strikes in Jabalia killed several people, including the director of the Jabalia police station. The latest attacks come as tensions continue despite the ceasefire.
