Israel has put in a request with the UN Security Council to immediately convene a meeting to unequivocally condemn Iran. Soon after Israeli missiles hit the Iranian consulate in Syria, Iran vowed revenge on Israel. The attack claimed the lives of Iran’s top three Military Generals which added ‘fuel to the fire’ in the war in the Middle East. In a retaliatory move, Iran struck hundreds of UAVs, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles on Israeli soil. Israeli Envoy to UN Gilad Erdan demanded Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGP) to be designated as a “Terrorist Organisation”. Israel said that Iran poses a direct threat to international peace and violated the UN Charter. On December 26th, the Delhi Fire Service received a call about a blast near the Israel Embassy in Chanakyapuri area. Delhi Police top officials, NIA team and Forensic Team soon reached the spot and investigated the matter. Israel Embassy confirmed that around 5:10 pm there was a blast at close proximity to the embassy. The Delhi Police has intensified its probe into a low intensity Israel embassy blast that occurred near the Israel Embassy here and sources said two youths were caught on camera walking on the road close to the spot shortly before the explosion. The police have also beefed up security in the national capital after Tuesday's blast near the embassy in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave, an official said.

India-Canada diplomatic relations after Canadian PM Trudeau’s allegation against India have reached an all-time low. Trudeau claimed of having “credible allegations of potential link between agents of India in killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar”. While addressing an event in Delhi, US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti spoke up on the Nijjar row. Garcetti said that Canada is a dear friend and United States deeply cares for Canada just as it cares for India. Speaking on India-US relations after Trudeau’s allegation Garcetti said, “These moments don't define our relationship, but they certainly can slow down progress”. Thereafter, speaking on the criminal investigation of Nijjar’s murder case Garcetti said that he is not going to tell leaders of both countries what to do. Earlier today, India issued a travel advisory and urged its citizens in Canada to “exercise utmost caution” for those who contemplating travel. Hardeep Singh Nijjar, for whom Trudeau is raising his voice, was a designated terrorist of Khalistan Tiger Force. Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Nijjar was shot dead outside a Gurudwara in Canada’s Surrey in June 2023.
