While the coronavirus outbreak has forced humans to lock themselves at home, animals have taken to empty streets to fill the void that humans have left. From penguins crossing streets to puma searching for food; from donkeys maintaining social distance outside an ATM to langurs running across deserted roads, here's a look in pictures of how animals across the globe are taking back world's empty streets during the coronavirus crisis.
Taking into consideration the large number of people that might visit the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) and Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary in Vasai, the park authorities had shut it for visitors last month before the 21-day nationwide lockdown was introduced. For now, only essential services have been operating and all parks, educational institute, offices among other things remain shut.
