Israel-Hamas Conflict: US President Joe Biden has a message for Hamas

Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital in Gaza witnessed a massive explosion on October 17 claiming hundreds of civilians amid the Israel-Hamas conflict. US President Joe Biden said Hamas had to “learn how to shoot straight”, following an explosion. Biden was flying home after a brief Tel Aviv visit meeting Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu with “Tough questions”. The US President had been blunt with the Israelis about the need to support getting aid to Palestinians in Gaza. Earlier, Palestinian officials had blamed an Israeli air strike for the strike on the hospital. However, Israel refuted by saying that the blast was caused by a failed rocket launch by the Islamic Jihad militant group. Also, Egypt's President Al-Sisi has agreed to open Rafah border to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza. Aid from several countries has been held up for days pending a deal for its safe delivery to Gaza.
