In a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Janata Curfew on Sunday from 7 am to 9 pm. People stayed indoors and only those involved in essential services were allowed to step out. The usually bustling city wore a deserted look with its prime spots including Marine Drive, Bandra, Lower Parel, Andheri and Chembur going silent.
