G7 leaders have gathered for a summit in Japan. Japan currently holds the G7 presidency. The leaders visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park on May 19 to pay tribute to the victims of the Hiroshima nuclear attack by laying wreaths. They also planted a tree. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida welcomed the G7 leaders.
