BEST announces 4th premium bus service route for commuters

The BEST on Thursday announced the launch of the fourth route of its premium bus service in Mumbai. The new designated route, between Mumbai Airport and Kharghar in Navi Mumbai will help connect the commuters to and from both the Mumbai airport and Kharghar. Flyers can book their seat on Chalo App from February 11, informs BEST general manager Lokesh Chandra.

BEST has resumed six bus routes from Bandra station in the east to BKC that had been disrupted for nearly 18 months due to the work on a nullah. The services will bring huge relief to hundreds of people who work in the business district, including the #DiamondMarket. mid-day had repeatedly highlighted the inconvenience faced by users who were forced to walk a good 250 metres to board buses.

India Pakistan bus services resume after 2 weeks

Cross-border bus services between India and Pakistan have resumed today from Poonch in Jammu. Sources have told NDTV that the trade service will resume tomorrow. Both services were suspended after the recent escalation in tensions between the two countries along the Line of Control (LoC) after two Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistani troops on January 8.
