US President Donald Trump has announced what he describes as a historic breakthrough in the Gaza conflict, saying an agreement has been reached on the complete disarmament of Hamas and a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. The Gaza Board of Peace says an "actionable plan" is now in place and has shifted its focus to implementation. The roadmap aims to facilitate Hamas's disarmament, support an Israeli military withdrawal, and establish a transitional administration led by the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), backed by an International Stabilization Force (ISF). While Hamas officials have acknowledged discussions on weapons and withdrawal, Israel has not yet officially responded to the proposal.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say they eliminated Hamas sniper Omar Ahmed Abu Qasem in a strike on Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. According to the Israeli military, Abu Qasem was involved in planning attacks against Israeli troops and attempting to rebuild Hamas' military infrastructure despite the ceasefire. Palestinian medics report that the strike hit an apartment building, killing Abu Qasem, his wife and daughter, while their young son survived with injuries. The incident comes amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations in Cairo and continued Israeli military operations across Gaza.
