Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has disclosed that he was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer following a routine medical examination, confirming that he has since completed treatment and fully recovered. According to official statements, the diagnosis came after a post-surgery checkup linked to a procedure he underwent in December 2024 for an enlarged prostate. During follow-up testing, doctors identified a sub-centimeter malignant tumour. Medical reports confirmed that the cancer was detected at an early stage, with no signs of metastasis. Netanyahu subsequently underwent targeted radiation therapy over a period of more than two months. Officials now say the treatment resulted in the complete disappearance of the cancerous lesion.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s latest health report has been released, providing clarity amid widespread speculation. The official medical document confirms that Netanyahu is in good health, having undergone a routine check-up and surgery to repair a right inguinal hernia. Comprehensive lab tests, including blood sugar, cholesterol, liver, kidney function and electrolytes, all returned normal, while cardiological monitoring shows his pacemaker functioning properly without dependency. The report also confirms that Netanyahu is under antibiotic treatment for a urinary tract infection, and recent screenings, including colonoscopy and laser-assisted prostate removal, reveal no cancerous or pre-cancerous growths.
