Amid the NEET Re-exam row, a major legal showdown has erupted after Telegram challenged the Centre's decision to temporarily restrict access to the platform. The government says the move is necessary to stop fake paper leak claims, exam scams and misinformation targeting students. The NTA claims several Telegram channels were allegedly demanding money from candidates by falsely promising access to question papers. Telegram CEO Pavel Durov has criticised the decision, arguing that millions of ordinary users are being punished despite the platform removing hundreds of suspicious channels.

Modi highlighted the growing India-EU partnership and welcomed the progress on the landmark India-EU Free Trade Agreement. He urged European companies to “Design in India, Make in India and Export from India.”
