Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was discharged from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi on March 27. He underwent emergency brain surgery after suffering life-threatening bleeding in the skull on March 17. He experienced severe headaches for a few weeks before undergoing the surgery, according to Isha Foundation. In a video clip, the spiritual Guru was seen coming out of the hospital as his followers greeted him. Sadhguru has suffered multiple bleedings in the brain before being hospitalised. Sadhguru, who is 66 years old and the founder of the Isha Foundation, has launched campaigns like ‘Save Soil’ and ‘Rally for Rivers’ for environmental conservation. Watch video.

India on November 29 formed a high-level inquiry committee to address the security concerns highlighted by the US government. US Secretary of State also welcomed the probe panel set up by India and said “It’s good and appropriate”. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday denied reports of lathi-charge on warkaris by police in Alandi town in Pune district. He said a minor scuffle broke out between warkaris- devotees of Lord Vitthal- and the police. Opposition parties, however, claimed police lathi-charged warkaris and demanded a high-level probe and strict action. Nationalist Congress Party working president Supriya Sule and Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole claimed warkaris were lathi-charged by the police and condemned the incident. The incident occurred when devotees were scrambling to gain entry into Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi Mandir in Alandi town, 22 km from Pune city, during the ceremonial procession which is part of the annual Ashadhi Ekadashi pilgrimage to Pandharpur.

A Nigerian court has charged 26 men, including 17 indians for attempting to illegally deal in crude oil. The Nigerian authorities claim that the crude oil filled inside the ship named MT Heroic was being brought illegally. On August 9 the ship had left for Nigeria's Equatorial Guinea with crude oil. On 17th Aug, the ship was detained by the the authorities. Tarun, who was detained on the ship, released a video and demanded the government's help. Pranav Shinde, who is also on the ship, his mother has appealed to CM Eknath Shinde for the release of her son.
