With a rise in COVID-19 cases across the state, the government has resorted to stricter norms. Recent government restrictions have put a complete closure on gyms across Maharashtra. With businesses hit hard, gym owners in Mumbai are unhappy with the move. We spoke to a few gym owners in the city to find out more.

As Covid-19 cases in the city are on the rise, the state government has imposed several restrictions in Mumbai. In its latest order, municipal commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has stated that all beaches in Mumbai will remain shut till April 30. The closure of beaches in the city also affects those earning a livelihood at these popular tourist destinations in Mumbai. Mid-day visited Juhu beach and spoke to the beach stall owners who had to shut shop after the government mandate. Watch this video to find out more.
