On December 11, 2015, the bodies of contemporary artist and painter Hema Upadhyay, 45, and lawyer Harish Bhambhani, 65, were found in separate cardboard boxes from a nullah in Kandivli. Hema was estranged from her husband Chintan Upadhyay, also a painter, and the couple was locked in bitter divorce proceedings since 2010. The bodies were recovered from cardboard boxes. Baby Prince Rajbhar who had suffered 22 percent burns after a fire broke out in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of KEM Hospital earlier this month, died of a cardiac arrest on Friday. Indian National Hamid Nihal Ansari returned to Mumbai on Dec 18, 2018, after spending six years in a Pakistani jail. Hamid was detained in 2012 for entering Pakistan and subsequently jailed on espionage charges. Software Engineer by profession, Ansari went to Pakistan to meet a woman he had befriended through social media. Ansari was awarded three-year imprisonment by a military court in December 2015 after being slapped with charges of espionage and involvement in anti-state activities. The Supreme Court made a landmark judgement on September 28, 2018, ending the age-old ban on women between the ages of 10 and 50 years (or women of "menstruating age") from entering Sabarimala temple in Kerala.
