A Russian couple stunned New York after climbing to the top of the Empire State Building's 1,450-foot spire, where Ivan Beerkus appeared to propose to Angela Nikolau before both were arrested. The pair remained atop the iconic skyscraper for several minutes, unfurled a banner reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace," and descended before being taken into custody by the NYPD.

Spectators gathered in hundreds to watch the ultimate show of Indian Navy’s bravery at the Gateway of India.
