Delhi-NCR is facing another spell of intense rain after Monday's widespread weather chaos, with the IMD issuing a red alert as heavy showers, thunderstorms and gusty winds continue. The latest downpour has triggered fresh waterlogging and traffic disruption, while school buses were reportedly stranded in floodwater in Gurugram, leaving children stuck for hours and parents worried. Key parts of Delhi have also been hit by waterlogging, including areas around AIIMS, ITO, Connaught Place, RK Puram and Parliament Street.

An Air India flight from Phuket to Delhi encountered severe turbulence during cruise, causing a sudden momentary change in altitude and injuring 14 people on board. The Airbus A320 operating flight AI2379 was carrying 134 passengers when the turbulence struck. According to Air India, the aircraft landed safely at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, and all passengers and crew disembarked safely.
