The Delhi Development Authority has demolished the home of a rat hole miner Wakeel Hassan. He played an important role in rescuing 41 workers trapped in Uttarkashi's Silkyara tunnel last year in November. A video of the demolition has gone viral on social media. Hassan shared the video and claimed that the building he and his family was residing was "razed in the drive". The Central Railway (CR) has taken a 27-hour megablock from November 19 night to dismantle the British-era Carnac Bridge between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Masjid Bunder station in south Mumbai. More than 37 lakh commuters are likely to be affected by the special block. Central Railway's Mumbai suburban network operates over 1,800 local trains on the 'Harbour' and 'Main' lines, which originate in south Mumbai.

The Supertech's illegal twin towers in Uttar Pradesh's Noida - have been demolished. The 100-metre-tall structures were reduced to dust within seconds. According to the demolition firm Edifice Engineering, over 3,500 kg of explosives were used to raze the twin towers.
