Monsoon diseases are a common occurrence with the onset of the rainy season. A range of viral infections and illnesses like the Common cold, Flu, Typhoid, Dengue and Leptospirosis grip people during this season hampering their health and wellness. We spoke to Dr. Manjusha Agarwal, Senior Consultant- Internal Medicine at Global Hospitals, Parel Mumbai to understand the ways in which we can protect ourselves from monsoon-related illnesses and the disease symptoms to watch out for. 

On being asked about the new circular issued by Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung on Friday which directed all officers, including IAS and DANICS, not to follow the Delhi government orders which were declared by the Centre as 'illegal orders'.
