Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv turned into a terrifying mid-air emergency when Indian Captain Smit Machchhar was allegedly attacked inside the cockpit by Omani co-pilot Al-Hammami. With 174 people on board, the situation escalated rapidly as the wounded captain struggled with severe injuries and the aircraft descended into chaos. Israeli dentist Dr Shota Musaev, who was travelling as a passenger, rushed to the cockpit after hearing screams and a call for medical assistance. For nearly 45 minutes, Musaev reportedly worked to keep Machchhar alive, using T-shirts and ice to control heavy bleeding from deep wounds to the captain’s head and left hand while maintaining constant pressure.
