The Supreme Court on 4th of March slammed Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over his "eradicate Sanantan Dharma" remark. Stalin’s lawyer moved the Apex Court seeking clubbing of multiple FIRs registered against him in several states. Slamming Stalin, the Supreme Court said that the leader abused his right to “freedom of speech.” Supreme Court adjourned DMK Minister’s plea for its next hearing on March 15. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khan and Dipankar Dutta told Stalin that he is a Minister and should know the consequences of his remark. Stalin is the Minister of youth welfare and sports of Tamil Nadu. He is a well known film actor and son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and ruling DMK chief M K Stalin. The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri who is all set with his new film ‘The Vaccine War’, hit out at DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin for making a controversial remark on Sanatan Dharma and also slammed INDIA bloc for boycotting 14 anchors. Comparing the DMK party which is a part of INDIA bloc, he called the leader ‘Hitler’ and asserted that the public would respond to this in the times to come. On the matter of boycotting 14 anchors by the Opposition bloc, the INDIA alliance, Agnihotri said that the leaders of these parties used to come to the same TV channels and give different types of statements through this medium, but now they have lost it too.

Continuing the 'Sanatana Dharma' Row after Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s ‘eradicate Sanatana Dharma’ remark, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma asserted to have problems with the Congress party. “I don't have much problem with Stalin. I have a problem with Congress...I want to ask them (Congress) if tomorrow I give such a statement about Muslims or Christians, will Congress consider it my freedom of speech?... Be it Hinduism, Islam, or Christianity, why are you talking about ending them? This is not right. The main culprit for this is Congress MP Rahul Gandhi,” said Himanta Biswa Sarma.
