Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde celebrated ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Temple by beating the drum at Kopineshwar Mandir in Thane on January 22. Notably, the idol of Lord Ram was unveiled in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. PM Modi led rituals of the ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple. The idol was unveiled at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya during the pran pratishtha ceremony. Days before Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration, PM Modi took a vow to do Anushthaan for 11 days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 25 flagged off Vande Bharat Express train in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Kerala's first Vande Bharat Express between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod at Thiruvananthapuram Central Station on April 25. According to Prime Minister's Office, the Vande Bharat train will cover 11 districts namely Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod. Vande Bharat Express is an indigenously manufactured, semi-high speed and self-propelled train set. The train is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities, providing passengers with a faster, more comfortable and more convenient travel experience. Prime Minister Modi, who will be on a visit to Kerala on April 25, will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various projects worth more than Rs 3,200 crore.
