Quarantine and isolation 'Hospital Train' heads to Nagpur

As cities fall short of beds, more trains are being used as hospitals for COVID-19 patients. After Nandurbar, another such train will be used at Nagpur​. On 26th April, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation commissioner asked for a hospital train for isolation​ and quarantine​. An 11-coach converted train, equipped with medical facilities, is being readied for the same. Watch this video for all the details

This train is functioning as COVID-19 hospital amid bed shortage in Maharashtra

Twenty COVID-19 patients were admitted to a 21-coach train converted into a quarantine facility at the Nandurbar railway station on 18th April, following proper inspection and installation of a unique and effective cooling system. Stationed at platform number 3 of Nandurbar railway station, the train has been converted into a COVID-19 hospital. Watch this video for more details.
