On the night of October 31, 2024, Bengali Hindu devotees gathered at the Shri Shri Kali Mata Temple at Shivaji Park to celebrate Kali Puja. This year marks the 89th celebration of Kali Puja by the Bengal Club, which has organized this event since 1935. The temple was filled with devotion as people participated in traditional rituals to honor the Goddess Kali. This celebration also coincided with Diwali, the festival of lights, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Diyas were lit, and prayers were offered, symbolizing hope and joy. The vibrant spirit of both Kali Puja and Diwali united the community, creating a beautiful blend of traditions.
