Following the safari, the ambassadors will attend the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit in Guwahati, scheduled for February 25 and 26. The summit will focus on boosting investment, trade, and economic ties between Assam and various global markets. This event is a significant opportunity to showcase Assam's potential and strengthen international relations.

With the passing of 59-year-old Anarkali on November 10, an era has come to a close. And it’s not just the end of Anarkali’s life that is so difficult to accept, but the fact that no more elephants will ever step foot inside this zoo again. Anarkali and her companion, Laxmi, were the heart of Byculla Zoo for over four decades. They were more than just animals; they were a part of the city’s soul. 07 January,2025 11:45 AM ISTIn a tragic incident, a ferry boat with 80 passengers and five crew members onboard capsized near Elephanta Caves after a small speedboat crashed into the vessel, which was carrying more than 80 passengers. At least one passenger has been confirmed dead in the incident. The Indian Navy launched the search-and-rescue operation in coordination with the Coast Guard and Marine Police.

However, she lost by a huge margin and ended up losing her deposit."When Maneka Gandhi contested against the Gandhi family from here (Amethi)...a young widow with a young child...literally she is stripped, she is assaulted. And the message goes in the region, that if we didn't leave her, how will we spare you?" Irani said. "This whole subset, that is so enamoured by the giggling Gandhis, they don't realize the muck, violence, torture, they are capable of. Beneath that sheen, is so much of dirt," she added.
