Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on April 13 talked about the sequence of events that led to the arrest of the Bengaluru café blast case suspects from West Bengal. Talking to ANI, the Home Minister praised the NIA and Karnataka Police for arresting the accused. He also raised doubts about their involvement in Shivamogga blast. “NIA has done a wonderful job. Our Karnataka police have done a wonderful job. Both of them hail from Karnataka. They studied together. I was told initially that they are from Thirthahalli, Shivamogga district. We will find out whether they have any links with the other agencies. These two were supposed to have been involved in the earlier Shivamogga blast. They had escaped for almost 3-4 years. And now after this incident, they are caught. NIA will investigate further. And then our police also will find out because they are originally from Karnataka. So let us wait and see what comes out of the investigation...” said G Parameshwara.

Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast took place in Bengaluru on Friday injuring 9 people. A patient who was injured in Rameshwaram Cafe Blast was discharged from Brookefield Hospital after completing the treatment on March 2. Speaking about his condition, the patient said that he was completely fine. He also stated that he considers himself fortunate not to have suffered any major physical injuries. The patient said, "I feel lucky to not get any physical injuries; I just lost minor hearing senses that will be recovered in one week or so. I don't know what happened when I went inside. I heard the sound and lost consciousness. I am absolutely fine now."

PM Modi on 27th February, met German singer Cassandra Mae Spittsman and her mother in Tamil Nadu's Palladam. The German singer is known for singing songs, especially devotional ones in several Indian languages. While meeting PM Modi on Tuesday, she sang Achyutam Keshavam and a Tamil song as well. Veteran Leader from the Congress party Baba Siddique on Feb 10 joined NCP in presence of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar .This came after he officially resigned from Congress putting an end to his 48 years of journey with the party. During his speech, he claimed that ‘perception politics’ was being done in Congress. Siddique, a former legislator from Bandra (west), is the second big face to quit the grand-old party before the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls. In January, Milind Deora exited from the party to join Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. As the interim budget for the financial year 2024-25 was rolled out on February 01, President of the US-India Business Council (USIBC) Atul Keshap lauded US and India governments for their focus on iCET sectors and budget. Atul Keshap said, “First of all, I think this is a very confident, very sober and very pro-growth budget by the government of India, and I think it signals a real sense of optimism about the economic growth of the country. It sends a very strong signal to investors about the constancy of government policy. So I think it's very positive. And I congratulate the Finance Minister, her entire team and the government.” “So it actually details really nicely with iCET (Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology), which is the initiative on critical and emerging technologies that the two governments and the US chamber launched in January of 2023. So first, for instance, there's a $12 billion fund to help develop these so-called sunrise sectors of deep tech and future tech. And there's a lot of money as well on semiconductors. I think the government of India is showing great focus on artificial intelligence, quantum computing and other iCET sectors. I led an aerospace and defence mission last week, or rather this week, to Delhi, and we had really good and encouraging meetings. So I really applaud both the US and Indian governments for their focus on the iCET sectors and this budget. It proves that that focus is backed by real money,” he added.
