In a concerted effort to strengthen the cultural and linguistic bonds between India and Lithuania, a Lithuanian Sanskrit scholar, Vytis Vidunas, and the Ambassador of Lithuania to India, Diana Mickeviciene, have embarked on a mission to explore the deep-rooted linguistic connections between Sanskrit and the Lithuanian language. Speaking on the importance of recognising the profound link between these two languages, Ambassador Diana Mickeviciene told that Lithuanian, as the "closest living sister language to Sanskrit," serves as a unique bridge between the two peoples.

Delivering the inaugural address at the Raisina Dialogue, Italian PM Meloni shared her appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hard work in handling a complex G20 presidency and reiterated Italy’s full support. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has echoed External Affairs Minister Jaishankar’s views on Europe. Last year, External Affairs Minister had said “Europe has to grow out of its mindset that its problems are world problems”. Despite being a part of European Union, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz feels Jaishankar “has a point”. EAM Jaishankar’s ‘Europe-mindset’ quote has now been included in Munich Security Council 2023. S Jaishankar made these remark while taking part in GLOBSEC 2022 Bratislava Forum. In recent months, Jaishankar has been very sharp in his comment to show mirror to the West. External Affairs Minister had also lambasted Europe for questioning India’s oil imports from Russia.
