A devotee based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has claimed that he has been told by goddess Sharda to take ‘Samadhi’, a state of meditative consciousness or trance. Sudhakar Shukla has been fasting since April 8 in the hope of seeing the goddess. He believes the goddess will appear before him on April 17.
