The Republic Day weekend is a goldmine for film releases. Looking at the box office performances of Republic Day weekend releases in the past decade, SRK's Pathaan and Deepika Padukone's Padmaavat occupy the top two spots. While Pathaan earned Rs 57 cr, the latter got an opening of Rs 24 cr . Both films feature Deepika and were released on Jan 25 of different years. The BEST on Thursday announced the launch of the fourth route of its premium bus service in Mumbai. The new designated route, between Mumbai Airport and Kharghar in Navi Mumbai will help connect the commuters to and from both the Mumbai airport and Kharghar.
