The latest claims point to a sharp escalation in the conflict, with Saudi fighter jets reportedly striking multiple locations as fighting intensifies across Yemen. According to Houthi spokespersons, Saudi F-15 and Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets targeted Al-Jawf, Taiz, Saada, Marib, Hajjah, Lahj, Amran and Ibb. Yemen's Houthi movement claims it struck a Royal Saudi Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon with a surface-to-air missile over Saada province near the Saudi border. The group has released footage it says shows the attack. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed the aircraft took off from Taif Air Base in western Saudi Arabia and was hit directly. The reported damage to the fighter jet has not been independently confirmed.
