Bigg Boss 17 ended on January 28 with Munawar Faruqui being declared the winner of the season. The grand finale episode was attended by ex-contestants including Tehelka, Vicky Jain, Isha Malviya, and Sana Raees Khan, among others. They extended their support to the top five finalists- Arun Mashettey, Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra. Post-finale, the contestants reunited in Mumbai. Arun Mashettey, Tehelka (Sunny Aryaa), and Samarth Jurel were seen reuniting in Bandra, joined by politician Rrahul Kanal. Mannara Chopra, the second runner-up, celebrated with her family, thanking everyone for their support. Preparations to evacuate the workers trapped inside the Silkyara tunnel are in the final stage. ‘Good news’ is likely to come as the workers are expected to be pulled out from the tunnel today. To facilitate swifter evacuation, welding experts have been called from Delhi to the tunnel site. Tunnelling engineers from CIMFR Roorkee have also joined the rescue operation of of the Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse. International tunnelling expert Arnold Dix is already on the scene and playing a significant role in the rescue effort. Dix had previously assured that the workers would be safely evacuated. 41 labourers have been trapped inside the Uttarkashi Silkyara Tunnel since Nov 12. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was on the spot to review the situation. He said that the rescue is at its final stage and that the workers will be rescued as early as possible. PM Modi is taking updates on the rescue every single day. He took the update today as well.
