The Air India Express on May 09 terminated around 25 cabin crew who reported 'sick' and didn't report to work .As per sources, the management terminated cabin crew members due to their ‘unprofessional behaviour’. The mass sick leave was considered a pre-meditated and concerted abstention from work without justifiable reason .The disruption caused by the mass sick leave affected more than 95+ flights of Air India Express between May 07, 08 .Air India Express CEO, Aloke Singh also announced plans to reduce flight operations in the coming days. IndiGo’s Mistreatment: Airline apologizes as Para-athlete Suvarna Raj mistreated

Para-athlete Suvarna Raj, who has represented the country in global events, on February 3 accused the IndiGo airline crew of 'mistreatment', saying she requested the carrier to provide her a personal wheelchair at the aircraft door but the staff did not respond. On the IndiGo’s mistreatment, Suvarna alleged that she was mistreated by IndiGo crew members while taking a flight from New Delhi to Chennai. Suvarna had booked seat number 39D(Aisle) on the Chennai-bound flight on Friday.
