This man enabled prison inmates to make leather footwear

‘Inmate’ is a brand developed by Divej Mehta that employs prison convicts from Yerwada jail to produce leather footwear. Under the mother company Tergus Works Pvt Ltd, this brand gives a second chance to prison inmates. It took them more than eight months to train prisoners and mentally prepare them for the task. Divej doesn’t want these inmates to be mere employees but wants to truly rehabilitate them once they have finished serving their time in prison. There are currently 70 skilled prison inmates working in Yerwada jail and making premium leather footwear for inmate. Watch this video to know more.
